羊雲 天に流れて 秋めきぬ 芙蓉咲く地の いまだ暑きに

このところ晴れて暑し
なれど土用を過ぎれば空にすでに秋の気配あり
昨日朝駅に向かふ路の芙蓉に花一輪咲き残る
花には夏の名残り雲には秋の気配あり
It's been sunny and hot lately.
However, now that the Doyo period is over, there are signs of autumn in the sky.
Yesterday morning, there were still flowers blooming on the cotton rosemallow tree on the road to the station.
There are traces of summer in the flowers and a hint of autumn in the clouds in the sky.
