陽の陰に 高砂百合の 花咲て 夏の暑きを 此処に凌ぐか

先日暑き晴れた日都内歩く
昼どきの公園日陰に人は休めど日向に人影つゆもなし
独り我は帽子の陰に隠れて歩く
傍らを見れば高砂百合の一株のみ案内板の陰に隠れて咲きたり
The other day I walked around Tokyo on a sunny day.
In the park there are people resting in the shade, but no people in the sunny place.
I am walking alone, hiding in the shadow of my hat.
Looking to the side, I saw a Takasago lily blooming, hiding in the shadow of a guide board.
