朝の陽に 向日葵三つ 顔向けて 青き空には 高き薄雲

向日葵は青き空に似合ふ
このところ関東は晴れて暑し
昨日あさ晴れた空のもと駅に向かふ
我は日陰を選びて歩めど路の端に咲きたる向日葵は顔を日に向け嬉々として明るき光を浴びたり
Sunflowers look great against the blue sky.
It's been sunny and hot in the Kanto region lately.
Yesterday morning I headed to the station under the clear sky.
I choose to walk in the shade, but the sunflowers beside the road turn their faces toward the sun and happily bask in the bright light.
