夏盛り 実は丸々と 太りゆく 明るき陽射し 椿を照らす

関東地方数日前に梅雨明けたり
いつなるか先日都内歩けば陽射しは極めて強し
細き路地裏小料理屋の店先に椿の木あり
丸々と太りたる実はすでに色づきて明るき陽に輝きたり

There was a little camellia tree in front of a small restaurant in a narrow alley.
The fruit, plump and already colored, was shining brightly.
