梅雨空に 雨を恋ふるか 紫陽花の 造花の如く 咲おりにけり
令和六年七月三日
昨日都内は雨の降る気配なれど降らず
昼どき歩けばさほど暑からずして人出多し
道の傍狭き植栽には梅雨に相応しく紫陽花植へられたり
枯れ色の花は造花の如く咲きて雨を恋ふるか
It looked like it was going to rain in Tokyo yesterday, but it didn't.
It wasn't so much hot when I was walking around in the afternoon, so there were a lot of people in the streets.
In the narrow patch of land beside the road, hydrangeas are planted, befitting the rainy season.
The withered color makes me feel the flowers look as if they are longing for the rain.
