水蓮の 小さき花の ただ一つ 水面に浮きて 風の止みけり
令和六年六月二十一日(夏至)
昨日都内晴れて暑し
昼どきビル前の狭き公園には人々集ひて日陰に憩ひたり
小さき池には水蓮の赤き花一つ浮かぶ
風は止みてビル翳を映す水面には細波のつゆも立たず
It was sunny and hot in Tokyo yesterday.
At noon, people were resting in the shade in the small park in front of a building.
A red water lily flower was floating in the small pond.
The wind has stopped and there is not even a ripple on the water's surface, reflecting the building.
