雨上がり 昼顔咲きて 陽は高し 街の景色の 夏めきにけり
令和六年五月二十一日
昨日都内朝の雨は昼には上がりぬ
昼どき街を歩けば活気あり
大通りは車の頻りに行き交ひて絶へず
歩道の植込みには何処より種の飛び来るか昼顔の澄まし顔にて咲きたり
Yesterday in Tokyo the rain that fell in the morning had stopped by noon.
When I walked around in the afternoon, the city was full of life.
Cars are constantly passing by on the main street.
In the shrubbery on the sidewalk false bindweed which seeds had flown in from somewhere were blooming impudently.
