楚々として 白丁花(ハクチョウゲ)咲く 路行けば 陽は傾きて 町は暮れゆく
令和六年五月四日
先日駅より帰る路に白丁花咲きたり
春の陽は傾きて暮れゆく
薄暗き路の傍ら草叢に白き花の見ゆ
近寄りて観る花は消えゆく如く楚々として咲きたり
The other day, on my way home from the station, white flowers of Snowrose (Serissa japonica) were blooming.
The spring sun was setting.
I found the white flowers in the planting by the dark road.
As I approached and looked the flowers were blooming gracefully, as if they were disappearing.
