馥郁と 沈丁花咲く 道行けば 春は名のみに 雪の残れる

昨日眼科と内科の受診に十条の町まで行く
駅に降りれば東京には珍しく雪降りて寒し
病院より帰る路に沈丁花の香り仄かに漂ふ
春は名のみに花の上には雪の僅かに残りたり
Yesterday, I went to Jujo town to have an eye exam and an internal medicine checkup.
When I arrived at the station, it was snowing lightly, which is unusual for Tokyo.
On the way back to the station from the hospital, there was a faint scent of Winter Daphne flowers floating in the air.
Spring was only in name and snow remained on the flowers.
