ひさかたの 陽は横ざまに 石蕗(ツワブキ)の 花を照らして 冬の近づく
令和五年十ニ月五日
先日師走に近き日都内を歩きおれば陽は低し
晴れた日なれば昼どきの公園には人々あまた休みたり
片隅の陽だまりには石蕗の花咲きて明るく輝く
横ざまに照らす陽は寒き冬の近づきたるを知らす
The other day, when I was walking around Tokyo on a day near December, the sun was low.
It was a sunny day and there were many people in the park around noon.
The Leopard plant flowers blooming in the sunnyside were shining brightly.
The sun shining horizontally signals the approach of winter.
