見あぐれば 蔓梅擬(ツルウメモドキ) 色づきて 何事も無き 年の暮れかな
令和五年十ニ月四日
昨日隣町に用ありて電車にて行きたり
電車まで時に余裕あれば遠回りして駅に向かふ
行く路の途中檜葉の垣根を見あぐれば蔓梅擬の実の数多あり
時来りて草木の実をなすは常のことなれどありがたきかな
Yesterday I went to the next town by train.
I had some time before the train, so I took a detour to the station.
On the way there were many yellow berries of the Oriental staff vine upon the Japanese cypress hedge.
It is natural for plants to bear fruit, but it is a blessing.
