茄子の花 乳母(おんば)日傘に あらねども 夏の陽避けて 蕊(しべ)を守るか
令和四年六月十九日
先日十条の街中を歩きおれば茄子の鉢植狭き小路に置かれたり
鉢に花の二つ三つ付きたり
茄子の実を喰うため植えたるにあらざらむ
花びらは花蕊に日陰を作りて乳母の如く守りたり
The other day, when I was walking in the streets of Jujo there was a potted eggplant in a narrow alley.
Some flowers were blooming on it.
I guess it not be planted to eat the eggplants.
The petals, like a parasol, were carefully shielding the Stamens and pistils from the sunlight.
