梅雨入りを 待ちてアジサイ 花影も 身を縮めたる 今日の眩しさ

昨日昼時都内歩けばよく晴れたり
梅雨入り前と覚へぬほど陽は眩しき
時折り歩く小路を通れば紫陽花は梅雨を前にすでに花咲たり
強き陽を避けるか花びらを縮め花影もまた身を縮めたり
It was a fine day and I walked around under the clear sky in Tokyo at noon yesterday.
The light was so bright that I couldn't believe it was before the rainy season.
Hydrangea was already in bloom when I was walking along the road that I occasionally go through.
The shadow of the flower whose petals have shrunk due to strong sunlight is also shrinking.
