面白き 神楽の舞を 古(いにしえ)の 人々もまた 愉しみたらむ

昨日はこどもの日なれば各地にてさまざま催し物ありたらむ
我が町なる玉敷神社にても神楽あり
四世紀以上続きたる神楽は江戸神楽の伝統を伝えたると聞く
鈿女命(ウヅメノミコト)・猿田彦の舞は優雅にしてかつ滑稽なりけり
Since yesterday was a holiday for Children's Day, events would have been held all over the country.
"Kagura" (Japanese traditional theater) was performed at Tamashiki Shrine in my city.
It is an event that has been held every year for more than 400 years.
The dance of "Uzume No Mikoto" and "Sarutahiko" was graceful but humorous.
