花園に 密かに咲ける プリムラも 身を縮めてむ 風の冷たさ
令和三年十二月二十一日
昨日都内晴れたるも寒し
昼時街をあるけば吹き行く風にわが手は悴(かじか)みたり
ある植栽にプリムラの地植へあり
背の丈低き花は冷たき風を避けるが如く咲きたり
It was sunny in Tokyo yesterday, but a cold wind blew.
When I was taking a walk at noon, my hands grew numb with cold.
There was a ground planting of Primula in a flower bed.
The flowers with short stems looks like to be avoiding the wind.
