檀特(ダンドク)の 紅の色こそ 鮮やかに 緑葉繁る 梅雨の小径や

檀特はカンナの原種のひとつなり
広くは生姜の仲間にしてアメリカの先住民はこれを食用にしたと聞く
時折通る駅に続く路に先日この花咲きたり
燃え上がる紅き色の花は梅雨の冴ない景色の中で一際我が目を惹きたり
