ずっと昔から思っていたのだけれど、LGBTQが何故こんなに話題になるのか、ということだ。世の中に不思議な動きがあるときには、誰かの利益が絡んでいる。LGBTQの人は今までひっそりと生きてきた。彼らが表立って運動活動をしたところで誰にも相手されない。それではいったい誰？答えは簡単だ。マクドナルドであり、スタバであるのだ。メリークリスマス。スタバでは言わないらしい。言うのはハッピィーホリデーだ。メリークリスマスは、キリスト教のイベントだ。しかし世の中は広い。イスラム今日の人もいれば仏教の人もいる。マック、スタバは、売り上げを拡大するために、彼らも取り込まなければならない。グローバリゼーションの結果だ。つまり、LGBTQも取り込もうという戦略なのだ。別に、LGBTQを本当に大切にしたいと思っているのは本人たちや本当にごく少数の善意のある人たちだけだ。企業は儲からなければこんなことやらない。でも結果的にLGBTQの人たちの権利が改めて保証されたという意味では良いことなのかもしれない。
