In one of the most emotional auditions to date, Josh Daniel sings "Jealous" and brings not only Simon Cowell to tears, but everyone in the room. Josh is only 21-years-old, but lost his best friend two years ago. He chose to sing Labrinth’s "Jealous" but explains he interprets the lyrics in a different way than how the band originally meant them. Josh explains to him they mean that his friend is in Heaven, and Josh is jealous he can’t be there with him as he misses him so much.
Josh is a mechanic, but obviously sings on the side, he lives with his mother who is his number one fan. She also was very emotional during his audition as was every judge. Simon Cowell recently lost his mother, so no doubt this audition touched his heart in such a way that even he was unable to speak so overcome with emotion.
