" The Mercy of the Modern Things

  : Chapter 1 The Psalm Etude "

        (9― )

Q39 If that's the case, I have no choice but to depict the actual situation in this sonnet and appeal to it. Please write a poem about this story and introduce it to the whole world in English.

A39 OK, let's summarize. * Due to the width of the paper, some descending lines will be moved to the right.

     Sonnet 3 (Black Smoke Village)

Garbage wars gather at the bottom 15 tofu factories

 in Trobodo village

Mr. Kosim, the factory manager, is always smiling,

smiling with his face and crying with Hara.

A woman who stands 12 hours a day without a shift

has been working here since she was a child.

My son has quit school and is working here

because he doesn't need a graduation certificate.

Mr. Puadi of Plagomi Village Caring for his wife,

who is unable to move due to a stroke, and sorting work

Involuntarily spill tears

Living in a city full of things and light,

but smoke and oil stains don't come off here.

It is said that you have to run the washing machine

three times to remove it

What do you think? What is life here at the bottom, where garbage is brought to the scene of the night castle of the developed country and the prosperity of the city?

Q39 Contradictions are being "wrinkled" by the poor. We, a developed country that <turn a blind eye> are surrounded by goods and full of light, and it seems that we are selling our human souls to devil. It makes me feel the horror of the magical power of egoism.

A40 That  's exactly right. The power of politicians alone will not save the day. It is tempting to say that the power of religion is still indispensable. What do you think?

Q40 Yes, the "Fusion Civilization" should transform the magic of egoism hidden in human beings into wisdom for everyone to be happy and bring it together. We should use  science to move from the division of the malignant to the fusion of the good. The power of religion should come alive in this change of direction and become a vector for moving the political and economic worlds. That's what I think.

A41 Now, let's draw another  of the bottom of modern times. It is the story of the Rohingya, discriminated people who have been discriminated against for centuries.
