A596 Does this mean that if Jesus is crucified, the sins of all mankind will disappear? There is no rationality in this idea. Even if Jesus is the Son of God and should bear the original sin of all mankind, it is doubtful that His atonement can be achieved by hanging on the cross. There's no logical consistency that you can be sure of. There is a feeling that the resurrection of Jesus was conceived in order to dispel the sloppiness of that illusion. What do you think?

Q596: I understand the contradiction. However, the view of original sin is too common. It's a Greek intelligence that looks at universality.

A597  In Buddhism, we see that an individual bears his or her destiny in the present through the causes and deeds accumulated in the past. It's an accumulation of cause and effect. Therefore, each person will have a different form,

so there is no easy delusional route to solve it all at once by "sacrificing" the representative, as in Christianity.

The idea of offering sacrifices to God can be seen in the Jewish mindset as early as in the distant past. Abraham, the progenitor of the legend, made an oath and offered his son's life to God as a "sacrifice" as a testimony. God admires his sincerity and allows him not to sacrifice his child's life. Sacrifice is a kind of compensatory  that comes out  covenant with God.

In this respect, Buddhism is clearly more scientific. Since there is no transcendent person called God, compensatory acts can only occur in the causal relationship of one's life. Speaking of simplicity, it's a view of lodging that is too simple. In this sense, Buddhism is more reasonable. It can be said that the Buddha of India saw through the natural laws hidden in the world with a penetrating eye.  The poem I once wrote, "A Certain Suspicion," was a poke at this delusional nature of Christianity. Let's take a look at it.

        A suspicion

  Somebody's

Bearing the weight of the cross I am carrying

What kind of underground abyss are you going to cross?

What are we going to atone for?

Why make a crown of thorns with the thorns of death

   Somebody's

Gathering and creating the line of destruction of the world

  With a thinning thought

How to the Dead Sea in the Chest
