As for Race 2, Hamaguchi made up for his disappointing outing in Race 1 by taking his sixth chequered flag of the season and at the same time sealed the 2008 SuperSports 600cc title. | Hamaguchi who started second on the grid got off to a good start as he led in Lap 1 but could not sustain his lead as Decha overtook him in Lap 2. However, the veteran rider steal the lead back in Lap 6 and both of them were taking turns to lead the pack. | “I am glad my strategy to overtake Decha at the very last turn worked out successfully. I had a good fight with Decha as both of us have different strength at different corners. There were a few corners that I was slow but Decha was fast. | Meanwhile, Ahmad Fuad Baharudin of PETRONAS Sprinta Yamaha Malaysia who could only finished fifth with 13 points in Race 1 and sixth with 11 points in Race 2 has to be contented with second overall position as he accumulated a total of 160 points.
