空手英語を修得しよう!ということで、時々、稽古録を英訳することにしてみました。

To learn English to describe Musokai Karate, I try to post my alone training in English. This is it,the first post.

One of my daily tasks, Musokai Karate alone training before going to work.

Today's training is 108th since I joined Musokai one year ago.

Nikko's mountains are slightly viewed from parking lot.

Today's training menu is... just Bo-jutsu, stick techniques.

・Tokumine-no-kun kata 8 times
・Drills of not-well-performed sequences in Tokumine-no-kun

Focusing on sharp strikes and taking back of Bo(stick) immediately after each strike.

Small muscles in arms don't have enough ability to realize them. Instead large muscles, such as latissimus dorsi muscle, have to be activated.

Today I got a slight feeling of Bo's bounding
after strikes. Timing of Bo's coming back seemed a little bit earlier than usual.

Stretched tendons gave this feeling of Bo's bounding? Tendons?  Latissimus dorsi aponeurosis?  (How mouthful! Even American people can't pronounce, I think.)

I'm not sure what is happening on. But this feeling seemed not bad.For a while, I will focus on this feeling when training Bo-jutsu.

Just 12 minutes' training.
Happy to get a new feeling.
