慰安婦(comfort weman)を、戦時性奴隷(wartime sex slaves)と書くことが、BBCレベルのメディアで完全に定着しているのを見ると、やりきれなくなりますね。

「20万人の性奴隷」も事実扱いにされています。加えて、日本の保守派の反論も「この20万人は慰安婦ではなく挺身隊のこと」という部分こそ肝ですが、それが紹介されることはありません。
「慰安婦はプロの売春婦だった」という苦し紛れの言い訳に聞こえる部分のみが、印象操作の上で報じられています。

Some conservatives in Japan have claimed that the women were prostitutes - something fiercely denied by the women and by Japan's neighbours.
