Which do you like better? I compared a coated ambassador and a pinstripe against a toms butter heads. I experimented with drum head types and tunings with a 12" x 8" toms of my own Pearl Drums MMX Series 4 ply maple w/4 ply maple reinforcement shell. The difference between the two toms is that the Canopus RIMS mount tom is the Pearl Super Hoop II and the Pearl ISS mount tom is the Pearl Super Hoop.
