２年間、端にも棒にもかからなかった？今年のボローニャ国際絵本原画展への公募。
しかしながら、今回初めてメールでの来年の参加要請が来ました。
って言ってもみんなに送ってるメールってことなんだけど、
『絵なら世界の人と語れる！』と(たまに)豪語している私にとっては、
貴重な世界への表現の場には違いないわけなので・・・
やってみようかな。
今年もやってみようかな。
でもやるなら今年はもう少し甘い感じの作品が作りたいな。

Dear Children's Book Illustrator,
The Bologna Children's Book Fair invites you to participate in the next Bologna Illustrators Exhibition, which will be held from Monday 23rd to Thursday 26th April 2009.
The Illustrators Exhibition provides a unique opportunity of presenting and promoting your own works to the most representative figures of the children's publishing sector, thanks to the concurrent Fair, the world's most important event in this field.
The publication of the selected works on the "Annual" catalogue distributed worldwide as well as the travelling itinerary of the Exhibition to several Japanese art museums (in co-operation with JBBY) increase the visibility of all participating artists.

Judging will be done by an international panel of art school teachers, museum curators and children's book publishers.
