Reign は直訳すると「支配」「統治」「君臨」ですが、
この訳詞では一部「主の日」と訳しています。
歌詞全体をみると、Reignは直接的にはイエスキリストの再臨を歌っています。
そして聖書は再臨の日のことを「主の日」と記している箇所があります。
そのニュアンスをお伝えしたくて、あえて「主の日」と訳詞をしました。
そしてもうひとつ、この歌詞には隠された意味がある気がしています。
ヨハネが黙示録1章10節で
「私は主の日に御霊に感じ～」
書いているように、
（ここでヨハネが言っている主の日は原文では「～の」という形容詞であり、特定の曜日のことではない。）
主が個人的に語りかけてくださり、
主がすべての主権を握っておられるということが格別にわかる日、
そのようなとき、それも「主の日」ではないかと。
主に心をあけわたし、
自分の心に主なるイエスキリストをお迎えし、
イエスキリストに「君臨」していただけたのなら
その日こそ
その方にとっての「Reign」だと思うのです。
