以前住んでいた家ではスウェーデン人とフランス人のカップルとわたしたち夫婦でキッチンエリアと玄関エリアのシェアをしてました。
My husband and I used to live in share house with couple from France and Sweden. We shared kitchen and entrance area with them.
今日はそのフランス人の女の子とお茶をしてきました

彼女のおうち（以前わたしが住んでいたおうち）へ行き、おいしいＣｈａｉを飲みながらお互いの近況を報告しました。
引っ越してからも何回か会っていて、週に何度もメールでお互いの近況を報告しあっているのですが、話のネタはつきませんでした

I went to her place and exchanged our latest information with having a nice chai tea.
However we had seen sometimes after I moved to another apartment and exchange our information by e-mail several times in a week, we still had a lot of things to talk with! It's girls talk!
今日は彼女から素敵なプレゼントをもらいました
She gave me wonderful present today!
フランス製の鍋つかみとフランス産のパテです。
パテはトーストしたパンに塗って食べるとおいしいよと教えてくれました。わーい
The present were kettle-holder and pate from France.
She told me that it would be delicious to eat pate with toasted bread.
話す言語、文化、育ってきた環境も違うふたりですが、ここトロントで出会えて、友達になれて、いろんな話をすることができるのって本当に素敵なことだなー思います。
I think it's really wonderful that we were able to meet in Totonto and became friends and able to talk many many things together although we have different mother languages, cultures and background.
