みなさま、こんばんわ。初心者障害者です。今日は、年明け初の針治療でした。体が岩のように固くなってました。ウォーキングもほどほどにやらないと、明日はリハビリなので、朝から護送車に載って、施設に連行されてきます。で、タイトルにある、営業の作法ですが、20年営業してきて、びっくりしたお話です。実家を賃貸に出そうと思いまして、家賃査定や管理についての打ち合わせをしなくては、と思い、市議会議員の親せきを通して、紹介してもらった、エイブルに電話したのですが、折り返しますと言われて3週間音沙汰なしです。なので、次はアパマンショップに電話したら、さわやかな、電話応対の営業マンに当たったのですが、前日のアポ確認の電話なし。さらに、名刺を出さない?普通初対面の営業は名刺だすだろ。切らしているなら、その旨を伝えるだろ。なめられてるのかな。素人だと思われたかな。車いす姿はよくなかったかな。しかし、賃貸の管理などは本当に面倒なので、ぐっとこらえて我慢しました。エイブルがダメ、アパマンがダメとなると残るはミニミニがあるのですが、明日電話してみようかな。長年営業をしてきましたが、ここまでひどい対応をする営業は見たことありません。その仕事俺によこせ、と言いたい。あーむかむかしてきた。これを春日部のピタットハウスの営業さんに愚痴ったら、名刺渡すのは基本じゃないですか、と言われまして、そうだよね。部屋に入ってくるなり、車いす姿のわたしの姿を凝視してましたので、なめられたのかな。

Hello, everyone. I’m a beginner with disabilities. Today was my first acupuncture treatment of the year. My body had become as stiff as a rock. I need to be cautious with my walking because I have rehabilitation scheduled for tomorrow. So, I’ll be picked up by an ambulance in the morning and taken to the facility.

Now, regarding the topic of business etiquette: I’ve been in sales for 20 years, and I have a surprising story to share. I’m considering renting out my family home, so I needed to discuss rent appraisal and management. Through a relative who is a city council member, I was introduced to a company called “Able.” I called them, but after being told they would call me back, I haven’t heard from them in three weeks. Frustrated, I decided to try calling “Apaman Shop” next. I spoke to a cheerful salesperson, but there was no confirmation call for the appointment scheduled the day before. And then, they didn’t even offer a business card? Isn’t it common for salespeople to exchange business cards during the first meeting? If they were out of cards, they could have at least mentioned it. 

I wonder if they were underestimating me or thought I was an amateur. Perhaps my wheelchair appearance didn’t help.

However, dealing with rental property management can be quite cumbersome, so I held my frustration in check. If both Able and Apaman Shop are not suitable, I still have MiniMini as an option. I’ll try calling them tomorrow. Despite my many years in sales, I’ve never encountered such poor customer service. It makes me want to say, “Give me that job!” I’m feeling quite upset.

When I vented this to a salesperson at Pitta House in Kasukabe, they said, “Isn’t it basic to exchange business cards?” And I agree. As soon as they entered the room, 

their gaze fixated on my wheelchair-bound self. Perhaps they underestimated me.
