次にSONYですが、こちらも携帯（ハイブリッド機）を発売する可能性は非常に高いと思っています。
元々SONYはPSPやVitaといった高性能携帯機を出していた会社ですし、携帯型ハードを作るノウハウでは三社中最も優れた企業でもあります。
本来であれば今もVitaの次の機種を出していてもおかしくなかったのですが、何故かSIEはそうしませんでした。
（これは多分今年までCEOを務めたジム・ライアン氏の意向が強く働いたと思われますが、確かなことはわかりません）
しかしライアンCEOはこの春で退任し、後を本社の十時社長が担当することになりました。
これによって従来止められていた携帯機開発や販売も行われる可能性が出て来たと思われます。
（正直なところジム・ライアン氏は優れたビジネスマネージャーであった一方で、PSビジネスに不要と思われる要素を持ち込んだり必用と考えられる部分を切ったりと、ゲーマーの視点からはかなり不満の出る方向性を示す人でもありました）
先に挙げたリーク情報が的中するのであれば、SONYの次世代携帯機はPS4から4Proに相当するスペックを持つと思われます。
これは既存のPS4ソフトほとんど全てのタイトルが活用でき、なおかつPS5からのリモートプレイやPS＋とそのクラウドサービスにも対応可能ということです。
PS4フォーマットは未だ現役でもあり、UNITY製のインディーズタイトルが多数リリースされ続けてもいます。
この開発環境がSwitch２と共に維持される可能性は高いし、その場合はゲーム開発側にとってもコスト安な環境が維持されることとなるでしょう。
リーク情報では早くて２年後ということでしたが、これも部品価格などを考慮すればある程度妥当な期限だと考えます。

PSvitaのようなハードではなく、PSPのようなハードが希望ですね。
PSPは多くのバラエティに富んだゲームのおかげで売れましたし、私も楽しめました。
何年後でしょうか?何十年後かもしれませんが、SwitchやSwitchの次世代機でも遊んで待とうと思いました。
