The text I've written
Dear Tom,
Thank you for your mail.
I think that you should visit Kyoto too, because there are a lot of spots for sightseeing . Especially , you can enjoy seeing some famous temples , such as “Kinkaku-Ji” and “Ginkaku-Ji” and so on.
You can see both old and new Japan at Kyoto because Kyoto is full of them.
I think Japanese culture has changed very much. For example, I can’t experience the Tea party at present life , but you may have the chance of it at Kyoto.
I’m looking forward to meeting you , too.
Bye! Tomoko.

Dear Tom,
Your grandfather is right! Kyoto is a good place to visit. It used to be the capital of Japan, and it has a long history. There are also lots of shrines and temples. You can get a idea about traditional life there.
As for modern life in Japan, you can see what family life is like when you visit my home. We are a pretty typical family. I’ll also take you to Harajyuku, which is a place in Tokyo that a lot of young people go to. You can see shops selling the latest fashion and see some really interesting people there. Japanese culture is changing very quickly. You will see that my thinking is very different from my parents!
See you soon.
Your friend,
Tomoko.
