Skype permits the transfer of files instantly to all participants. When you are in a conversation, just click the Share menu button at the top of the text entry box. Choose the file you want to send and Skype will send it. The recipients will see an alert that lets them know you are sending a file.
An easy way to transfer files to people you are conversing with is to drag the file from a folder in Windows Explorer, the Windows desktop, or My Computer directly into the conversation window. You can even drag an image that’s visible from your Web browser into the conversation window.
