Hello and welcome to our blog!
We are GTE Localize, a company working in the translation and localization industry. Through this blog, we would like to share information about our work, the languages we support, and topics related to multilingual communication.
For our first post, here is a short introduction to who we are and what we do.
A Little About GTE Localize
GTE Localize is a translation and localization company with more than 10 years of experience working with business clients.
Our team supports organizations that need to communicate with people in different languages. This may involve translating documents, adapting website content, or preparing multilingual materials for international audiences.
We work with clients in a variety of industries, including technology, manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and education.
Our international operations include teams in Vietnam, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
What Kind of Work Do We Do?
Our daily work involves different types of language projects.
Some clients need business documents translated into another language. Others may be preparing a website or software application for users in a new country.
Our areas of work include:
-
Document branching
-
Website and software localization
-
Marketing translation
-
Machine translation post-editing
-
Multilingual document formatting
Each project has its own requirements. A technical manual, for example, requires a different translation approach than a marketing brochure.
Understanding the purpose of the content and its intended readers is an important part of our work.
Languages We Work With
GTE Localize supports more than 100 languages through its international linguist network.
We have a particular focus on Asian languages, including Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Malay, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
We also work with European languages such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.
Working with different languages offers opportunities to learn about cultural differences, writing conventions, and the ways people communicate across markets.
Our Approach to Translation
Translation projects often involve more than a single translator.
Depending on the requirements, a project may include translation, revision, terminology management, formatting, and additional quality checks.
GTE Localize follows established quality management processes and maintains ISO 17100, ISO 9001, and ISO/IEC 27001 certifications.
We also use translation technology to help manage multilingual content and maintain consistency across projects.
