久々の海外ファンの反応です。今回は先日の、「逆転裁判がWiiへ？」について。
当然ながら、賛否両論のようです。

I'm not too surprised that it's being ported to WiiWare. They ported the game to PC and mobile phones while it was still a Japanese exclusive GBA title.
The only thing that makes me wonder is how they'll make the Objection! button intractable. Since there's no mic slot, would they make you do the finger pointing gesture with the remote at the screen? This is even assuming that it's the DS version being ported. It could easily be the GBA title as well.
Wiiウェアに移植されたとしても、あまり驚きません。日本ではGBAで発売されていた頃に、PCと携帯電話に移植されました。
唯一の謎は、どうやって異議を唱えるかです！ マイクがないので、画面に向かって指をさすジェスチャーをすることになるのでしょうか？ これは、DS版の移植であるという前提ですが。GBA版の移植ならば、簡単にできるでしょう。
Well, I'm curious about a few things with this semi-announcement.
Number 1, Is it episodic content or not? I wasn't too thrilled about being nickeled and dimmed when the title was ported to the Cell Phone. Paying for each investigation and court phase was just stupid. I'd personally rather have the whole game or not at all.
Number 2, is it a direct port or are we going to get the graphics and style seen in the TGS trailers?
Number 3, If it's a sprite port, is this a port of the DS version, or the GBA one?

1つ目、これは分割されるものかそうでないのか？ 私は携帯電話に移植された時、あまり楽しめませんでした。探偵パートと法廷パート毎にお金を払うことはばかばかしいものでした。一括で楽しめるものであってほしい。
2つ目、これは移植ものなのか？ それともゲームショウのプロモビデオのようにグラフィックなどを手直ししたものなのか？
3つ目、もしグラフィックがそのまま移植されるならば、DS版なのか、GBA版なのか？

Well, I have to agree here. But the reason I'm skeptical about this announce is the support: that is, WiiWare. I can't imagine this port selling so well. In fact, I can't picture it selling at all. I mean, almost most people who own a Wii and might be interested by this port probably already own a DS, and probably own the game.
A re-issue of the DS port with a nice price (like the 'New Best Price! 2000' in Japan) would have been a much more 'logical' choice than porting it on the Wii (and I'm not talking about eventual gameplay issues...). Especially since it's so hard to find this game on DS anymore (at least, new copies).
I know this is but a (very) cheap port, but at least the port on PC (aimed at people who only play video games on PC, and don't own any console) and Cellphone (aimed at people not really interested in video games in the first place, even though things have changed when the Nintendo DS was released) were more 'logical' than WiiWare.

Besides, I don't think we'll get any improvement or new stuff for this port. I'm pretty sure it'll be a straight copy-paste of the DS (perhaps even GBA) game put on the WiiWare. I seriously doubt they'll make 'HD sprites' just for this WiiWare, as someone mentioned before. (Even though, I would probably do buy it if they did! xD)
Well, I'd like to be utterly wrong about this port, but I just can't help thinking this is Capcom genius in recycling game in a very cheap way at work here...
(Even though I'm not AGAINST this port, I just don't understand it.)

日本においてのニューベストプライス2000シリーズのような、廉価版をDSで発売する方が、Wiiウェアで発売するよりも良い選択でしょう。特に、現在このゲームが売られているのを見つけるのが難しいので（中古以外で）。

I think it's perfect for the wii.
All you do on the DS Is tap the screen, why not just point and click on the Wii?
Ehh, I wouldn't be happy if they changed the gameplay tooo much, but... They should re-do the sprites so that they're not all pixelly. -w-

ただ、ゲームのシステムを大きく変えてしまうならばちょっとイヤだな。できたらグラフィックを描き直してほしい。

I wonder if they'll even be able to port over case 5 to the Wii. Examining evidence is possible, just select the rotating bars with the cursor. What makes me wonder if the fingerprint system. They require you to blow into the mic to blow off the powder, but there's no mic hole in the Wiimote or the console.
