It really resembles Take-chan from the planning department, so it gets a lot of love all around the office! Although it's starting to get a little dirty from all the love. ^^;

Today we'll be playing with this stunning Nendoroid...
The 8th figure in the Nendoroid Touhou series:
Nendoroid Yuyuko Saigyouji!
Yuyuko is a ghost girl who heads the netherworld pagoda, Hakugyokuro from the popular Touhou series of games made by the doujin circle Shanghai Alice.
This is how she looks from the back!
Yuyuko's power is the ability to control a number of spirits, so as you can see she has two spirits included to display on her left and right.
The butterflies attached to the spirits are the butterflies that appeared on her spell card!
To continue the Touhou Nendoroid trend, there are a tonne of extra parts!
First up is a closed folding fan!
Along with a right bent arm and a hand to hold the closed fan! It's become fairly common with Nendoroids now, but Yuyuko also has joints in her upper arm, so the arm can take all sorts of different poses!
Her Contemptuous Face!
She also has an open fan, along with an arm bent to the left!
This arm uses an extra shoulder part to make it stick out a little further!
Next up is her Innocent Smile!
Quite the contrast when compared to her contemptuous face... this one is an adorable smile!
I recommend this one when you're in the mood for a cuter Yuyuko!
Hands to hold the butterflies!
There are actually two varieties of her standard hand part - one normal one and another with an extension to place the butterfly onto! Both the butterflies and the spirits make use of clear plastic for a nice ghostly effect!
Recreate life at Hakugyokuro!
The 7th Nendoroid in the set was Youmu, who works for Yuyuko at Hakugyokuro!
Now you can recreate their life together... it's perfect!
The power to eat all kinds of things!
The bowl of rice and brazier are borrowed from Nendoroid Binchou-tan!
As you can see her hat can also be removed!

This is Phat Company's new series!
The Pixtone series is a 3D figure series based on 8-bit graphics! They make for a whole new style of cuteness! If you're like me and from the age of the NES, then these really have a sentimental feeling to them!
