New York Red Bulls.
The popular sports in the US are basketball, baseball, football, ice hockey
and so on. There is no way that people say soccer is one of the most popular
sports in the US. Many American people don't know even how many professional
soccer teams there are in the US. I don't know, either... But, there is the one
based in NY which is New York Red Bulls. Actually, their home stadium is located
in New Jersey though. I think people who play soccer have heard about this team
name because Henry who used to play an active part in the France National team
was traded to this team. So, I went to see the game which is New York Red Bulls
vs New England Revolution. The stadium is in New Jersey though, it takes me
to go there from Manhattan about 30 minutes by train. Not bad. And it's kind of
new. Clean. The seats are really close to the field because the stadium is for
the excludive use of soccer. Nice, nice, nice!
Then, the game starts...
Where is Henry??
He is not starting member.
He must show up in the second half...
To be honest, the game was boring because I didn't know anybody except Henry
and play looked really slow and monotonous.

Where is Henry??????
I don't see him in the group of substitute.
I don't see him at the bench...
In the end, he never showed up. This sucks!!
We went there to see him though.
Anyway, the American soccer has a low level of everything.
アメリカで人気のスポーツといえば、バスケ、野球、アメフト、アイスホッケー
などなどですよね。サッカーっていう人なんて一人もいてません。
たぶんプロチームが何チームあるのか知らないアメリカ人もいっぱいいる
と思います。 まぁ、僕も知らないですけど。
それだけアメリカ人はサッカーに興味がないわけですよ。
そして、NYを本拠地とする「NY Red Bulls」っていうチームがあるんですけど、
（ホームスタジアムはNew Jerseyですが…）サッカーをやってる人なら
このチームは聞いたことがあると思います。
そう、フランス代表で活躍していたアンリが移籍してきたチームなんです。
ってことで、VS New England Revolutionsの試合を見に行ってきました。
マンハッタンから電車に揺られて３０分くらいで到着。悪くない。
しかも新しいスタジアム。綺麗。サッカー専用グラウンドなのでピッチに客席が近い。
いいね、いいね！
そして試合開始！
アレ？アンリは？
スターティングメンバーではないらしい。。。
まぁ、最近は代表でも途中出場やし、そのうち出てくるやろ！？
正直、アンリ以外誰一人知らない僕らは退屈気味…しかもゲーム展開は
遅いし、プレーが単調…
そしてハーフタイムー
控え選手がアップしてるのに、アンリがいない…
ベンチにもいない…
結局、彼は出てきませんでした。
アンリを見に来た僕らは姿すら拝めなかった。
それにしても、アメリカサッカーのレベルは低いのぉ。
やることは派手やけど↓
あっ、アンリみっけた！！
彼は、この日試合前に意気込んでユニ買っちゃった系です。
今日TV見てたら、アンリばっちり出てました。
プレーオフ負けちゃったけどね。。。

Happy Halloween 2010.
First of all, I'm talking about Halloween this year. I went to the Halloween parade
as well as 2009. As I wrote on this blog before, I wore the costume of Gachapin
last year, and I was surprised to see a lot of amazing costumes and most of them
were adults. They were more serious than kids. So, I was thinking about what I
should wear on the parade for a month, then this is what I decided to wear this year↓
Purple Kimono & silver Daibutsu mask
Two of my friends and I wore the same masks of "Daibutsu" but they all were
different colors which were gold, silver, and green. And one of my friends and I
got Japanese Kimono by chance. But the other friend couldn't find a kimono...
He was little bit jealous of us obviously, and he and I tried to find his costume
matching with the golden Daibutsu mask. Finally, we found a fabulous one at
a costume store, and what was more, it was 50% off. See this picture...
Obviously, he was outstanding among us. On the contrary, everybody focused on him
and wanted to take pictures of him. We both were crap! Somebody watching the parade
shouts "Buddha!!" and we turn our face towered them, but they are looking at
golden Buddha all the time... We were so jealous of him. Anyway, it was really fun.
Only one bad thing was it was freezing. It was around 5℃... It's winter!!
最新のホットなイベントからお話します。10/31はHalloween！ということで、
昨年同様、パレードに参加してきました。このBlogでも紹介したように、昨年のコスチュームは
“がちゃピン”だったんですが、パレードに行ってみると、みんな本気で仮装していて、
そのほとんどがいい年した大人だったことにビックリしたのを覚えています。
みんな子供より全然マジ！むしろこれは大人のイベントなのかもしれません。
で、今年は僕も気合を入れようと１ヶ月くらい考えたあげく、決定したのが、
Kimonoと大仏マスク。。。
友達２人とお揃いで金、銀、緑の大仏くんをかぶることにして、偶然にも僕ともう一人の
友達は着物をGetできたんです。が、もう一人の友達はGetできず、少しジェラス…
そして、コスチュームショップが大混雑するHalloween３日前に友達と金のマスクに
マッチするコスチュームを探しにManhattanへ。
そしてついに最高のモノをGet！しかも５０％OFF。
それが上の金キラの大仏さんです。
彼が僕ら３人の中で一番目立ったのは言うまでも無く、あげくの果てにギャラリーの
人々はみんなゴールデンブッダに夢中で、僕らになんて見向きもしない。。。
シルバーブッダとグリーンブッダはクソでした。。。
誰かが「Buddha～！！」って叫ぶから振り向いても、いつもカメラはゴールデンブッダの
方向へ向いていて、僕ら２人はめっちゃジェラス！！
まぁ、楽しかったからいいけどね。
ただ、半端なく寒かった。。。気温はだいたい５℃くらい。。。
