SUKIYAKI Party.
We hold a SUKIYAKI party in my friend's house last Saturday even though
I had just come back from Japan. It was my proposal.
I first went to Mitsuwa whichi is one of the most famous Japanese super
markets in New Jersey. I was so surprised at the scene that looks like Japan.
We bought sliced beef and some fresh vegetables, then went to his house.
SUKIYAKI was really delicious and it reminds me Japan. You know, love Japan
again!!
先週の土曜日は友達の家でスキヤキパーティー！！でした。
そう、日本から帰ってきたばかりなのに…言いだしっぺは僕です。
NYからバスでNJに渡り、MITSUWAっていうデカイ日系スーパーで食材調達。
初めてMITSUWAに行ったんですが、まるで日本。。。びっくりです。
「和牛」と書かれた薄切り肉（こっちは薄切りがないので珍しい。）と新鮮（そう）な
野菜を買って、

ちなみに今日バイト決まりました☆
大きい声では言えないので小さく書いてます。
Williamsburg っていう大阪でいうと堀江みたいなオシャレなエリアのカフェレストランで今週から働きます。
日本の会社が経営してるんですが、お客さんの大半は外国人。スタッフも数人は外国人なので
英語の勉強にもなりそうやし、キッチンの仕事なので料理も覚えれるかな？
店舗内装デザインの仕事をする上で現場目線からレストランを見てみたかったというのもあるし、
カフェレストラン業務をもっと詳しく勉強したかったから、かなり良いトコロが見つかったと思います。
しかもこの会社、東京に本社があるんですが、アーティストのPVを作ったり、CDジャケットを作ったりも
していて、今月東京にもレストランをOPENするノリノリの会社。
採用担当の方も「今後イロイロな形を展開していくおもしろい会社」とおっしゃっていて、会社自体にも
コネクションができればいい方向に進むかも。
採用担当の方もインテリアの仕事をされていて、僕の考えにかなり同感してくれて興味を持って頂いて、
運良く今日面接の即採用になりました！なんか、ちょっとうまくいき過ぎ？！のような気もするけど
頑張ってみます☆
Black Friday.
Yesterday, November 25th was the thanks giving day that is
the national holiday in America. Generally, American people hold
big paty in their house and invite a lot of relatives or friends there.
So, this day is one of the most important events for American family.
Almost all of them roast a turkey whole and eat them on this day.
The family living on the downstairs of my house also cooked a turkey whole
and we got share of them.
I was invited the party in my classmate's house, and I enjoyed eating
a lot of foods including turkey.
Then, today was Friday called "Black Friday."
Black Friday is not an official holiday, but many employees have the day off
as part of the Thanksgiving holiday which increases the number of potential
shoppers. Many retailers open extremely early, with most of the retailers typically
opening at 5AM or even earlier.
I also went shopping to look for something good and cheap...but there were
many many many people in the town, and some famous brand shops had a sale
only few items even the big department stores like Macy's and JCPenny
had big sales. So, I was disapointed with that and went home after just eating
something...
昨日はアメリカの祝日"Thanks giving day”。
一般的にアメリカ人は家族や友人と集まって食事会を開く大切な日とされていて、
日本のお盆や正月みたいなもの。
そういえば、雰囲気もお正月みたいな感じがした。
店は閉まってるところが多いし、開いてる店も夕方に早々と閉めて、夜には閑散
とした感じが。。。
そして、みんなターキーの丸焼きを食べるわけ。
そう、七面鳥大虐殺の日。笑
スーパーには生々しいターキー君たちが所狭しと並んでるんです。
僕もちゃっかり戴きました。
下に住んでるオーナー家族がお裾分けしてくれたのと、夜にクラスメイトが
パーティーに誘ってくれたので、そこでも。
感想は、、、にわとりの方が好き。。。
そして、今日は"Black Friday”っていう休日じゃないけど、アメリカ人らしい
休んじゃおう！みたいなノリの日。
ここを休みにすると木、金、土、日と4連休になるからね。
多くのお店はこの日からセールが始まる。
しかも大セール！！って聞いてたんやけど、Macy'sとかJCPennyとかのでっかい
デパート系は大セールしてるんやけど、少し名の知れたブランド専門店は全然大した
ことは無く、ガッカリ。。。
クリスマスまでこのセールは続くみたいやから、学校帰りとかにちょっとずつ
物色しようかと思います。
なんせ今日はすごい人やったから…
店によってはサンクスギビングが明けた午前0時からOpenする店もあるらしい。
その雰囲気を味わいに行ってもよかったなぁ。

Long time no see.
I had had a great time in Japan for 10 days. I knew I love Japan.
You know, there is no place like Japan.
I might put on a bit of weight during my vacation because Japanese food
especially my mother cooked are very very nice and I ate too much...
Okonomiyaki, Tenpura, Sushi, Udon...
And I also love to soak in a bathtub. Onsen is the best.
Anyway, I came back to NY today.
Here is my second field to growth, so I try to strive for some goal.
By the way, I saw Mtsuzaka who palys baseball in The Boston Red Sox
when I arrived at Narita Internatinal Airport on Novenber 12th.
お久しぶりです！
日本に帰っている間、ブログはお休みしてました。
やっぱ日本はサイコー☆
食べ物（おかんの飯は特別！）はうまいし、風呂には浸かれるし♪
温泉サイコー☆
おかげで少し太ったかもしれません。
頑張って体絞ろうと思ってます。
そして、帰ってきましたニューヨーク！！
ここが僕が成長するフィールド、目標に向かって頑張ります。
ちなみに、日本に帰る時、成田空港で飛行機を降りると、何やらフラッシュの嵐。。。
近寄ってみると、レッドソックスの松坂選手でした！
