Leica is a bull terrier named by my father, whose hobby is photography.
It was the last dog left at my favorite pet shop when I was in elementary school. Childish elementary school students begged for cute dog breeds like miniature schnauzers and toy poodles, and I was the only adult elementary school student who could understand the mysterious abilities of this bull terrier, which was hidden by its silly face. Yes, it was a good understanding person.
Dogs don't choose their owners.
Whether they are rich or poor, once they ask for their help, they will serve them wholeheartedly and with all their heart. They don't compare or get jealous.
But even though Leica spends the most time with me, for some reason He places my mother, who is always cold towards her, at the top of his priorities.

ライカはカメラが趣味の父さんが名付けたブルテリア犬だ。
僕が小学生の時に行きつけのペットショップで最後まで売れ残った犬種だった。幼稚な小学生はミニチュア・シュナウザーやトイ・プードルなんかの可愛い犬種たちをおねだりし、このブルテリアのとぼけた顔にめられた神秘的な能力を理解できる大人びた小学生は僕しかいなかったのだ。そう、良き理解者なのだ。
犬は飼い主を選ばない。
裕福な人だろうが、貧しい人だろうが一度信頼すると一途に懸命に尽くす。比較したり嫉妬したりはしない。
でもライカは僕と接している時間が一番多いのに、どういうわけかいつもそっけなく接している母さんを優先順位のトップに位置付けしているのだ。犬は飼い主を選ばない？がっかりだ。
