ミネソタ州ミネアポリス生まれで、現在は、Dizzy's Jazz Club at Lincoln Center, Smalls Jazz Club, Blue Note 等に出演し、NYを拠点に活躍する女流ピアニスト、ジル・マッカーロンが、自身のピアノをフィーチャーしたピアノトリオ演奏とともに、NYのアルトサックスのトップランナー、ヴィンセント・ハーリングと重鎮トランペット奏者ランディ・ブレッカーと妻のテナーサックス奏者アダ・ロバッティをフィーチャーし、カルテット＆クインテットでも録音したストレートアヘッドでスインギーな好盤。
