unbelievable message!-TOKYO M's JOURNAL VOL.-371
26th of April 2010
Yesterday afternoon I got a voice mail from
my mom, from a hospital. When I heard her
message I was very surprised. She was taken
there because she couldn`t stand on her legs.
Yesterday she was going to sing with her friends
at the concert hall. During the rehearsal her
condition got bad, so bad that she didn`t feel
her hands and her feet, therefore she couldn`t
stand up, so her friends called an ambulance.
A good turn of events was that the hospital is
next to the concert hall. The doctor said she
got light cerebral infarction.
I always thought she is unique and energetic,
but I have never thought she would have that
much energy to call me herself after something
like this happened.
Today I went to the hospital and felt relaxed
because she looked better then I imagined.
Yesterday was my brother’s birthday,
if he was alive today he would have been 47
years old.
I imagined that my brother helped my mom.
Release your stress today!-TOKYO M's JOURNAL -
7th of March 2010
Recently, I read a book “Sutoresu Kessan Ichinichi
Syugi ” or `Release you stress today` writen by
Mr.Yamamoto Haruyoshi.
Mr. Yamamoto is a mental health doctor (psychiatrist).
Dr.Yamamoto said “it is important that we focus on
`now`”, because even if we work hard, we can’t
change the past. I believe that is right!
In his book, Dr.Yamamoto also said, that being
mentally healthy has one more important thing and
that is“we shouldn`t change others”. Even if we try to
do this, it is difficult to change the other people’s
thinking, minds and habits. It is true! We often forget
this…
He keeps writing “it is important that we focus on
ourselves, how we live for now and the future.”
The mental health doctors (psychotherapists) help
patients to realize that they can change.
I release my stress by the sea and blue sky!
a great graphic designer, Yoshio Hayakawa
2nd of February 2010
I went to an exhibition of Yoshio Hayakawa(1917-2009),
he was a graphic designer and he painted many
posters for department stores, design studio, covers
of some magazines etc.
It was the first time for me to see his works and I
liked his paintings. His colors were very beautiful
and I felt “modern” and “gentle” by his works.
I imagined that Yoshio Hayakawa had a great talent
and he also was a heartwarming person, because
his composition was very modern, and his colors
were soft and gentle, he was a good balanced
artist.
At the museum shop I bought his collection book.
I will be happy to open his book!!
