TOKYO M's JOURNAL VOL.372 - Bali island
7th of March-10th March 2011
I enjoyed a short trip to Bali island with my
friends. I had a relaxing time watching the
sky in the morning and in the evening on the
beach. When I felt hot, I swam in the pool and
after that slept on the pool deck.
I thought about my friends, family and the
people who have supported me, and I appreciated
their help. It was an important quiet time. I
also enjoyed dinner with my friends at the Bvlgari
hotel, it was gorgeous and exciting.
This trip was a good chance to look at my life.

TOKYO M's JOURNAL VOL371 -wonderful Rakugo show
Today my friend invited me to a Rakugo show
(comic story) of Fujiki Hayato.
I knew Mr. Fujiki is an actor from Okinawa,
But I’ve never knew he is a good comic and
a good storyteller(Rakugo-ka).
His Rakugo show was really nice! Especially
the story of Onaha Buten and Teruya Rinken
which i enjoyed a lot.
Buten and Rinken were famous entertainers
in Okinawa and Rinken was a pupil of Buten.
After the war(WWⅡ) Buten went around
many unknown people’s house with Riken and
the two entertainers played Sanshin (a kind of
instrumental) and sang funny songs.
Many people got angry, because they lost their
families and they were crying for the lost family
members.
But Buten didn’t give up to visit their home
and he kept telling them, “if you keep crying,
your lost family will get happy in the heaven?”
The two entertainers went around every night
to many unhappy peoples homes.
One day Rinken told to Buten.
“My master, people laughed little by little!”
Buten told, “off course, they wanted to laugh
for the long time. It is important that we live
happy life and have our lives filled with songs,
dance and laughter.
During hearing Buten’s story, I cried and
laughed at the same time. I think he had strong
positive energy and because of this I got
inspired by him. I also think we need music,
dance, and funny things until the end of our life.
Tokyo songs day -Tokyo M's Journal vol.372-
19st of June 2010
This week was a “Tokyo songs day”
concert. During this week I really
enjoyed listening to music, drinking
and talking with musicians every nights.
This year “BYG Big Band” was 15
musicians created from many different
bands.
They played many famous jazz numbers
and five guest singers rotated singing
and because of this the sound was
gorgeous, especially Miyake Shinji who
was very cool! He usually sings rock
and roll numbers, while in this show he
sang “in the mood” (a famous jazz
number) in Japanese words.
During the show I was excited and felt
happy! The musicians looked really
happy like they were playing in “the
music paradise(or heaven)”. It looked
like they played the music with their
soul.
After the show, one of the musicians
said that the audience looked so happy
too. I felt amazing experience that this
concert was like a music magic.
I think the reason why the show was
wonderful, is because the organizers
love the music, musicians, and the
audience, hence we feel the love
during the concert.
I think the love and passion are
important. Every year I learn
this from the Tokyo songs day
concert.
