269 Oshama is silent. And I can't think of anything else to to say.
"Anyway," Oshima finally says, "that's why you can ran away to Shikoku. To escape your father's curse."
I nod, and point to the folded-up newspaper. "But it looks as though they's no escape."
Distance won't solve everything. the boy named Crow says,
"Well, you definitely need a hiding place." Oshima says. "Beyond that there're not much I can say."
I suddenly realise how exausted I am. I lean against Oshima, and he wraps his arms around me.
I push my face against his flat chest. "Oshima, I don't be with my mother and sister."
"Of course you don't," he replies, running his fingers through my short hair. "How could you."
"Not even in dreams."
432 お島さんは沈黙する。
僕も言うべきことを思いつかない。
「ともかくそれが君ははるばる四国まで逃げてきた理由だね。お父さんの呪いから逃れるとこが」と大島 さんは言う。
僕はうなずく。そして畳まれた新聞を指さす。「でもやっぱり逃れることはできなかったみたいだ」
距離みたいなものにはあまり期待しない方がいいような気がするねとカラスと呼ばれる少年はいう。
「君はたしかに隠れ家を必要としているようだ」。大島さんはそういう。「それ以上のことは僕にもまだ うまく言えない」
僕は自分がひどく疲れていることに気づく。とつぜん身体を支えているのがおっくうになる。隣にい座っている 大島さんの腕の中にもたれこむ。大島さんは僕を抱きしめてくれる。僕はそのふくらみのない胸に顔をつける。
「ねえ、大島さん、僕はそんなことをしたくないんだ。父を殺したくなんてなかった。母と姉とも交わりたくなんか ない」
「もちろん」と大島さんは言う。そして僕の短い髪を指で撫でて梳（す）く。「もちろん、そんなことは ありえない」
「たとえ、夢の中でも」

Oshima writes down a phone number on a memo pad. "In the middle of the night
If you feel like talking to anybody, call this number. Don't hesitate, OK? I'm a light sleeper anyway.
I thank him.
That's night I see a phost.
