The International Union for the Conservation
of Nature says the giraffe population has plunged
by nearly 40 percent in the past three decades.
Now, the preservation group is putting giraffes
on its "vulnerable" list...

リストに追加することにした。」

幼稚園児の頃、キリンさんを絵本で見た時に
首や足が長く、身長もすっごく高くてかっけ～な～ と
感じたことを覚えています。 キリンの個体数は
「1985年 16万3000頭」 → 「2015年 約9万7000頭」 に
減ったそうです。色々と大変なことだと思いますが…
