こんばんは！
自分は、花火大会 (fireworks festivals/displays/shows) が
大好きです。 ほぼ毎年、夏に一度は都内の会場へ足を運び
今年は、先月 「たまがわ花火大会」 を楽しみました～
大学時代、たしか 「東京ウォーカー」 を読んでいた時
「隅田川・東京湾・神宮・横浜」 = 首都圏の4大花火大会 みたいに
特集しており、「
」 となって、全てに行った思い出があります。
そして、「通訳案内士試験 ・ 一般常識」 にも登場した
「日本三大花火大会 (The three biggest fireworks festivals in Japan)」
みなさまは、ご存じでしたでしょうか？ （英語表記は一例）
① 「全国花火競技大会 大曲の花火」 （秋田）
② 「土浦全国花火競技大会」 （茨城）
③ 「長岡まつり大花火大会」 （新潟）
以上の3つは、近年、このように数えられるようになったそうで
なんと 江戸時代に、「三大花火大会」 と称されていたのは…
① 「三河・吉田」 (愛知県豊橋市)」
② 「常陸・水戸」 (茨城県水戸市)」
③ 「甲斐・市川」 (山梨県市川三郷町)」
という資料を読み、花火の歴史の長さを実感！！
そして、またこうして 「」 （笑） が身体に流れ出た Mark は
近い将来、ぜひとも １箇所ずつ鑑賞したいな～と思うのでした

According to the Oxford Dictionary,
720. firework (n) : "a small device containing powder that
burns and explodes and produces bright colored lights and
loud noises, used especially at cerebrations"
721. fireworks (n) : "a display of fireworks:
When do the fireworks start?"
722. festival (n) : "a series of performances of music,
plays, films/movies, etc., usually organized in the same place
once a year"
723. show (n) : "(informal) an event, a business or a situation
where something is being done or organized"
724. display (n) : "an act of performing a skill or of showing
something happening, in order to entertain: a firework display"
As I mentioned above, I love them very much. :->
Since I knew so-called the three biggest fireworks festivals
in Japan, I will definitely go to the great ones in the future!!
