こんばんは！
子どものころは、Jポップを中心に邦楽が大好きで
毎週 「オリコンベストランキング」、「Mステ」 などの音楽番組を
チェック＆主にCDを買ったりレンタルで聴いていました。
昨年、物を整理していたら、30枚ぐらいシングルや
アルバムが出てきてので、ものすごく懐かしかったです。
洋楽に関しては、ほとんど無縁で、友達が 「オアシス」 や
「クイーン」 「ボンジョビ」 が好きだとか聞くと、それだけで
なんだか、すごいな～って驚いている少年。
大学生になってから、憧れや友達のお勧めなどで
少しずつ知っているアーティスト・曲が増えてきました。
カフェなどで洋楽が流れては、友達が何気なく
「ビートルズの○○」「ABBAの○○」 とか言うのを聞いては
感心していました。ただ、今ではある程度、有名どころは
反応できるようになりましたね☆
ちなみに、僕が初めて買った洋楽CDは、名曲揃いの
「Music Of The Millennium」
初めて買った洋楽DVDは、ビリージョエルのベストクリップ集
「The Ultimate Collection」でした！！

Good evening,
Speaking of music, I used to listen to a lot of
popular Japanese music, and check the charts every week.
At that time, all of them were my favorites. :-)
Even now, I enjoy the Japanese songs, especially
"Masaharu Hukuyama", "Hikaru Utada", "Dreams Come True",
and so on.
When it comes to foreign music, one of my favorite singers
is Billy Joel. I was moved by his thoughtful lyrics, melodies,
and performances!!
For example, I love "Piano Man", "Honesty", "My Life",
"Just The Way You Are", and "You're Only Human".
His lyrics are comparatively clear & simple.
Therefore, reading them is an enjoyable learning for me!!
