こんばんは！
小学生の頃から、普段のノートに書く字は丁寧で
上手とは言えませんでしたが、書道は大好きでした。
「成長」
2012年1月2日、10年以上ぶりに「書初め」をしました。
ちょうど、箱根駅伝の往路5区、熱い山登りのレースが
展開されている頃だったので、よく覚えています。
やはり、その時も、まずは自分の心が向くままに
これだと感じた「2字熟語」をとにかく書きました。
10作品ぐらいになり、一番しっくりきたのが「成長」でした。
では、「成長」とは何だろう？
「より良くなること」「前進」「進歩」「向上」「上達」「進化」「深化」
「高まること」「大きくなること」「増えること」「熟すこと」「丸くなること」
「growth」「progress」「improvement」「development」「up」
「できなかったことができるようになること」
「新たに気づくようになること・新たに好きになること」
僕の語感だと、以上のような類語を連想します。
日々、何かしら成長を感じてより良く生きたいというのは
おそらく、本能的な欲求であるのではないでしょうか？
ブログでは、一緒に成長し合えるという点を大切にして
楽しみながら進めていきたいと思います！！

To my friends,
Actually, I have encountered a variety of impressive
English words & phrases since I started learning the language
at the age of 12.
"Growth" has been one of my favorite English words.
According to an English dictionary, it means
"the process of developing physically, mentally, or spiritually"
Besides that, I also associate growth with progress,
increase, improvement, expansion, evolution, up, and so forth.
There are good days, so-so days, and unlucky days.
Gradually, I have come to believe that life is a great adventure.
My teacher taught me this line before.
I think that's what makes life growing and colorful after all.
Hope we can develop mutual growth in this place!!
