毎年箱根駅伝を見ている。
２０歳まで品川に住んでいたので、
小さい頃から第一京浜国道へ行って箱根駅伝を見るのが毎年のイベントになっていた。
I watch the Hakone Ekiden every year.
I lived in Shinagawa until I was 20, so
Since I was a child, it has been an annual event for me to go to Daiichi Keihin National Highway and watch the Hakone Ekiden.
タイへ住んでも毎年見ている。
これが終わると「新年の仕事をスタート！」という気持ちになる。
I watch it every year even though I live in Thailand.
When this is over, I feel like I'm starting my new year's work!
今年も多くのドラマが有った箱根駅伝。
今年は100回目の大会。
Hakone Ekiden had a lot of drama this year as well.
This year is the 100th tournament.
これだけのイベントを100年以上続けてこれるのも、それは凄い事だと思う。
日本が誇れる文化の一つだ。

今年は誰もが駒澤大学が優勝と思っていたところ、
青山学院が往路・復路で優勝で完全優勝
そして新記録。
Everyone thought Komazawa University would win this year, but
Aoyama Gakuin wins on both the outward and return journeys for a complete victory.
And a new record.
改めて「絶対」は無いと感じた。
スポーツは筋書きのないドラマだ。
Once again, I felt that there is no such thing as an “absolute”.
Sports is a drama without a plot.
