イギリスは昨日までイースターでした。
うちでは子供たちが大きくなって、ただの春の大連休のようになりました。
今年のイースター休暇は
ロンドンに来た当時に英語学校で初めて友達になったイタリア人の友達の
イギリス西南の新居へ遊びに行ってきました。
出会った当時はお互い下手な英語で半分以上意味不明な会話。
その後彼女はイタリアへ帰り今のようにネット環境じゃないから文通、
何度かイタリアの彼女の家への遊びに行かせてもらったり、
彼女がイギリスの大学へ留学に来て会ったり、
その後彼女はオランダ人との結婚でオランダに住み、
土地が合わずに夫婦でイギリスへ移住。
私と彼女とはお互いの好みや意見が合わずにギクシャクした時期もあったのに、
今回は5年ぶりくらいで会って、
今までで一番お互いの好きが似てきていて
すごく快適に楽しい時間を過ごせました。
彼女はあまり楽しくて、私が日本から戻ったら1ケ月彼女の家で暮らせばいいのにと
私の仕事の計画までし始めていたよ。。。
人間って成長するし変わるし（もちろん自分も含めて）、
こうなるんだ～と何だかすごく面白い感覚でした。
友人が連れて行ってくれたレストランが最高でした。
全ての野菜はレストランの広大な敷地内の畑でとれたものを使っていて、
メインが野菜ディッシュでサイドメニューに肉や魚がちょこっとあるという、
野菜が主役のレストラン
日本への長期帰国まであと1週間となりました。
日本到着は令和元日です。
令和にちなんで私の大好きなYeahYeahYeahのゼロを。
