HP Pavilion dm4, dv5, dv6 & dv7 plus

Welcome to a Laptop Battery specialist of the Hp Laptop Battery

The rest of HP’s new notebook range may not be quite as eye-catching as the ENVY 14 and ENVY 17, but there are still some gems in the line-up. The company have partnered with both AMD and Intel for their new Pavilion dm4, dv5, dv6 and dv7 consumer notebooks, together with the ProBook S-Series and B-Series of business-focused machines. We went hands-on will all of them – including the optional-multitouch dv6 – so check out more details and first-impressions after the cut.

The new HP Pavilions start with the HP dm4, a Core i5 based machine clad in brushed aluminum and kicking off at $749.99. Measuring an inch-thick, it has a 14-inch HD display, integrated optical drive and up to 6.5hrs of battery like Hp 2133 Mini PC Battery , Hp 8510w Battery , Hp 8710p Battery , Hp 8710w Battery , Hp 9400 Battery , Hp B1900 Battery , Hp Business Notebook 2400 Battery , Hp Business NX9100 Battery , Hp Business NX9105 Battery , Hp Business NX9110 Battery , Hp Business NX9600 Battery , Hp DV3000 Battery life; hands-on, its premium feel belies its low price tag. A step up in size gets you the 14.5-inch HP dv5, with Core i3, i5 and AMD Turion II CPU options and – on select machines – Intel WiDi wireless display, all from $649.99.

HP Pavilion dm4, dv5, dv6 & dv7:

Next is the HP dv6, from $699.99, with an optional multitouch-capable 15.6-inch touchscreen display which proved reasonably responsive. HP have carried over the home-friendly UI from their TouchSmart all-in-ones, and though the absence of a convertible screen means this isn’t a tablet for mobile use, it’s still appealing for the home audience. Power is from an AMD or Intel processor and there’s AMD VISION and VISION Pro on select machines.

The HP dv7 has a 17-inch display, a choice of quadcore Intel or AMD processors and ATI graphics. It has optional Beats Audio and standard Altec Lansing speakers and subwoofer, and will be priced from $849.99. It’s not a small machine, but the HD-capable display is bright and crisp and great for multimedia playback. We wish HP had a multitouch option here too, though, since it would make for far easier content browsing.

As for the HP ProBook lines, they’re obviously a little more sober than their consumer counterparts, but still look slick with brushed aluminum casings and monochrome color schemes. The ProBook 4325s, 4425s and 4525 all look to AMD for their CPUs and graphics, with a choice of Phenom II, Turion II, Athlon II and V-series processors paired with 13.3-, 14- and 15.6-inch displays respectively. Pricing starts from $619 when they go on sale later this month, and there are options for discrete ATI graphics, WiFi, Bluetooth and integrated 3G/WWAN.

HP ProBook S-Series & B-Series:

Meanwhile the HP ProBook 6450b and 6550b get Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 CPUs, 14- or 15.6-inch displays respectively, an eSATA/USB 2.0 combo port and WWAN options, and will arrive in June from $859. They have AMD counterparts in the shape of the HP ProBook 6455b and 6555b, kicking off at $779, with a choice of triple- or quad-core Phenom II, Turion II or Athlon II processors and optional ATI Mobility Radeon HD 530v graphics. HP reckon you should be able to squeeze out up to 24-percent more battery life from them versus the last generation of AMD-based notebooks.

At the value end of the business scale there are the HP 425 and HP 625, kicking off from $549 with AMD 2.3GHz Turion II dual-core, 2.1GHz Athlon II dual-core or V-series processors and ATI Radeon HD 4200 integrated GPU. With 14- or 15.6-inch screens and an HDMI cable, they’re not exactly inspiring in the same way as some of the consumer notebooks, but they do offer plenty of specs for the price.
Finally, HP’s netbook range has had a mild makeover, with the HP Mini 210 range getting pink and white color options (available June 15th for $354.99) and the HP Mini 110 getting a new 6-cell, 8hr battery (also available June 15th, for $279.99).
