The rally, at Deering Oaks Park, was scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. ET. WCSH-TV says it has been told that the pop diva is likely to appear closer to 5 p.m.
The Portland Press Herald estimates the crowd at about 400 .
The rally was organized by the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network. Gaga tweeted last night that she would appear today.
