正月もSteve jobsの本を読んでました。
英語で読むと本当に遅く、1時間で10～20ページぐらいののろさです。
一回読んでもよく分からないから2,3回読み直すことも遅さの原因です。
この本を読み始めて本当に良かった。
自分と全然違う人の話やから引き込まれる。
ジョブスのポイントは「passion:情熱」です。
読んでてビシビシ、ジョブスのpassionを感じます。
完璧主義だとか、人に厳しくすることも
製品や会社に対する情熱が人の何倍もあるからやろうね。
こんなのyou tubeで見つけました。
全部は聞き取れませんが、言っているのは
仕事が嫌いな人→途中で諦めてしまう→成功しない
多くの人はこれ。
仕事が好きな人→情熱がある→辛い事も耐えられる→成功する
と言っていると思います。
Stanford大学での講演でもジョブスは
「死ぬ気で好きな仕事を探さないといけない」
というような事も言ってます。
僕の好きな映画に「グッドウィルハンティング」という映画があります。
最近、英語の勉強でよく見ます。
その映画の中で、心理学者のロビン・ウィリアムスが
主人公のマット・デイモンに
what do you really wanna do?（本当にやりたいことは何か？）
what are you passionate about?（何に情熱を感じるのか？）
と聞きます。
27歳になってもそれが何なのかよく分かりません。

charismatic rhetorical style, indomitable will, and eagerness
to bend any fact fit the purpose at hand."

アップル社員のジョブスについてのコメントです。
スゴイな。
"reality distortion"って直訳では「現実を歪めること」。
ジョブスは目的を達成するために、現実を歪め、
歪めていることを自分で認識しながら、
それを真実のことのように社員に伝える。
社員もそれって現実やないやんって気づくけど、
それを受け入れてしまう。
スゴイな。
この人嘘ついてんねんけど、この人についていったら
間違いないし、とりあえずやってまおう！
ってことですよね。
人間性と言葉の力ですかね？

It's really exhilarating. Now think about dog-paddling
at the tail end of that wave. It wouldn't be anywhere
near as much fun. Come down here and make a dent in the universe.
ジョブスが人をアップル社に呼ぶ時に使ったことばです。
Picasso had a saying - good artists copy, great artists steal -
and we have always been shameless about stealing great ideas
ジョブスがXerox社でGUIのアイデアを得た時を表した言葉です。
アイデアを盗むのを肯定してるんですね。
i thoroughly enjoy talking with him, and I admire his ideas,
practical perspective and energy. But I just don't feel that
he provides the trusting, supportive, relaxed environment that i need.
ジョブスのしたで働いた一人のエンジニアのメモだそうです。
カリスマだが、人として嫌みたいなようです。
